Monosodium Glutamate, commonly known as MSG, is a sodium salt of an amino acid (L-glutamic acid).  MSG is used to intensify flavors of foods and produced by a bacterial fermentation process with starch or molasses.  It is not only a direct taste enhancer but also a complex flavor enhancer for gravies, meats, poultry, sauces, and in other combinations.  It is also used as an organic intermediate and to enhance the taste of tobacco.

“Tianzi” MSG is one of the most popular products made by Jiangsu Sel Biochem Co., Ltd.  It is a quintessence of superior grain and modern biological fermentation technology.  It is widely sold in most parts of China and exported to SE Asia including Singapore & Malaysia.  Tianzi MSG was awarded the “Famous Brand of Jiangsu Province” for 6 consecutive times and got the National QS certificate in June 2005.  Tianzi has also passed the ISO9001:2008 certification and complies with the requirement of GB/T19001- 2008.  The product is of high purity and can be widely used in many kinds of dishes.
